Fly guys

I've been having some serious artists block for this Flyman draw off. Here's just some random stuff I doodled while trying to come up with something...

Lord of the Flies. I kinda envisioned Flyman summoning a swarm of flies like Aquaman summons sea cucumbers and krill and stuff. Then I realized that was stupid.


This was going to be a side-kick for Flyman, Dung-Beetle Boy. After thinking about it a bit more I came to the conclusion that the sole purpose of his creation was to see a fat guy flying around, so I nixed him. Now if someone would just smack that sh*t eating grin off his face. (rimshot!)


Lastly, I tried to emulate the original artists "style." This is "Golden Age" Flyman.


None of this is really that interesting, so I guess I'll have to go back to the drawing board to see if I can pull something out of my @ss before tomorrow's deadline.

I don't think I've ever seen Aquaman summon krill, but that would be a great way to off a villain.
