Hellboy colors

hmmm pretty cool lineart but not sure about the colors on the beast in the front. Also the lighting is all around his backside so should there be highlights on the right side of his body as well?? And his arms? Also very glowy.. kinda hard on the eyes. but cool nonetheless man. Keep up the good work

In the story Mignola presented the newly transformed Ualac as glowing which is why I colored him as such. Plus the room during the battle seemed to be engulfed in flame which is why I was pushing for the glowing effect with the yellow. I am glad you like it and thanks for replying.^^

the yellow cut on Hb's belly is a bit harsh. maybe soften it up a bit?

If that's what you're going for, I don't think you've established enough light sources. It should be coming from all sides, then.

Hmm.. Reading the story right now. As far as the room being on fire, it's surely all over the place. As for how Mignola rendered shadows on Hellboy, the only light source seems to be Ualac, yet Ualac is shaded as if there were a light source in front of him. If Jokoso is going "straight from the source" on this pic, then Mignola's light sourcing is where the problem lies.

Still, in a hyper-rendered way, I guess Jokoso's Hellboy should have at least two more sources taking some of the shadow out.
