Just downloaded it, great game for XBOX. I can see the Multiplayer being fun, ive only touched SP and MP for about 40 minutes each.

I'll admit PC versions are superior but the Xbox has some fun games on LIVE. Have you played the PC demo for Far Cry?

Im not dissing the XBox im saying most people now just download the XBox games to there Xbox hard drive. I have all Five systems PS2, Xbox, Stinkcube, GBA, PC. No I just dont have time for online games.

Far Cry is a first person shooter for the PC, not an online game although it does have a multiplayer option. Also, you can't download games to the Xbox harddrive, it doesn't work that way. You can download updates and patches but not full games. Not yet anyways.

You do know you can mod your xbox right? Basically makes it a PC which you can hook up to your REAL PC and transfer files to. My friend did it with his, and he swapped the 10 gig HD for a 120 gig then burned a bunch of the game to the HD so there's no load times. He also has divx movies on it and a bunch of emulators and ROMS. This is one of the reasons why XBox 2 will not come with a harddrive.

I know about the modding but I'm not going to run out & do it to my Xbox. Also, I see your point regarding the harddrive but I don't think Microsofts doing it to stop the modding community. I think Microsofts neglecting a harddrive in their next system so that they can design the Xbox 2 to be smaller and therefore sleeker which will give it a better chance to compete with the Playstation 2 in Japan. Or, maybe its for both of the reason we mention. I also think its a wiser choice because M-Systems has already stated they're going to provide a storage solution in the form of flash storage peripherals. Maybe we'll be able to carry our whole harddrive in our keychains like those flash drives currently in the market.

No, microsoft is definitely doing it to stop the modding community. The xbox is sold at a loss, the difference is to be made up with the lisencing cost of the games. If people are buying the xbox but not the games, microsoft is losing a ton of money, and they are upset about that.

Really?-Why, because someone mentioned modding an Xbox?-I don't do it and don't advocate doing it. I hardly think this thread will be locked because the discussion hasn't gotten out of control or heated. Who knows though, maybe I'm wrong. I think Pandora Tommorrow looks awesome, especially the LIVE play.
