As overall movies I guess they don’t look to bad. Some of the effects in both of the trailers looked really awful, tho.
For example, the CG wolves, why?..., And in Troy it looks like they have “massive” set on default, which does not look good.
New trailers for
day after tomorrow.
and
Troy
i'll like troy and Pitt looks like a bad ass.
Day after I am changing my mind about.
At first I had no interest.

Well I think Troy looks good but I doubt they'll keep to the story. For instance it says that Achilles is leading the Spartan army. Achilles led the Myrmidons according to the story so...
And yea, CG wolves? If it exists in real life you may as well use te real thing. Plus aren't movies that are about the world exploding or some kind of natural disaster that has humanity banding together a little bit trite?
If you're so evil...EAT THIS KITTEN!!!
**** yeah! ID4, Armageddon, Deep Impact, The core, etc, but I can't help myself from paying $7.50 to see this junk everytime. Its like drugs. For the eyes.Originally posted by ShadeofGreen

Just downloaded both of them and I eagerly await Troy.-That movie looks better and better with every new trailer but I wish there'd be some mythology in it as opposed to a more realistic approach.-I guess the Lord of the Rings trilogy spoiled me. Would I go watch The Day After Tommorrow?-Maybe I'll rent it but I wouldn't waste $7.50 on it. Reason being is I rarely go to the theater and when I do its usually if the movie is really awesome or I loved the trailer. I also can't wait for The Punisher, the new trailer has definetly surprised me. I think that movie will kick ass.
I don't think they have it that Achilles led the Spartans so much as they're portraying him as the superstar on the battlefield. I mean... it's Brad Pitt. C'mon. He's going to be the firey tempered rogue hero. Not some old fart general.
That Troy trailer rocked my socks right off!!
Hm, I didn't feel that way. There seemed to be enough new angles on the battle(field). And in Troy it looks like they have “massive” set on default, which does not look good.

Troy looks awesome (though I do hope they're going to be doing some tweaking to the Massive scenes).
Never heard of Day after tomorrow and I don't have the patience to download the trailer at 28.8 kbps <sob>![]()
