I picked it up and I liked it quite a bit.. the writing is decent.. and the art is pretty..

Anyone read the new Marvel Knights FF book? What'd ya think?

Some People are like Slinkies .. they are completely useless. but you cant help but smile when you see them tumbling down the stairs.
I agree, the art was very good. I kinda wanted to wait to give my two cents, but I guess I'll go. The concept was pretty good, but I felt it could have been written better. It's perfectly realistic for the FF to go bankrupt, and I feel that it was a good direction, but the way it was written somewhat turned me off. I don't know if I'm gonna buy the next issue, because I fear what it'll turn into. But then again, it may turn out interesting, and I may get into it. But the first issue didn't really hook me in.
It's good. I figured I'd not buy any Marvel books because they don't work as self contained issues and I could rather just wait for the trade, but 4 #1 was pretty good in and of itself. And I wants me some more.

I really didn't like this issue, aside from them purty pictures. I never thought I found myself saying this, but this story is just unbelievable. The Fantastic Four, in all seriousness, can't go broke. Reed has hundreds of patents that he could sell to make them millionaires. The writing was incredibly cheesy, especially Sue shouting "Shield Up!" Ugh. They should have just thrown this writer some other work, instead of using Jemas' asinine concept for a FF book. I'm just waiting for Dr. Doom to move in next door or something.
And I'm perfectly aware of the fact that I'm calling something ludicrous in a super-hero book.
Speaking of the writing, I really got annoyed when they kept having those questions appear in caption boxes when each character was coping with what happened. Like, "Reed Richards. Father. Husband. Scientist. Welfare recipient?" That, like Barbarino said, was very cheesy.
The writing was gay. Whoever was pimping this guy to replace the creative team for the ongoing series was a retard. The art was freaking amazing. If the trade is under ten bucks whenever they collect it, I'll be sure to snag it. If it's over ten bucks... the writing is gay.
the writing was eh.the art was eh.as ever, the FF was was eh.I wish Art Adams was drawing FF.
I dislike "day in the life of", stories. This was the second comic I've picked up in four, five years that wasn't a back issue to fill my collection. Digital Webbing was the other and only to support those guys.
I really like this kids art, it's a cross between Charest and Lenil Yu. But i may get the next issue then forget it. Hell I couldn't even bring myself to by the Silvestri X-men book. All the books on the shelves just looked like crap.
Heh. New Fantastic Four blew my mind when I was younger.
