Wouldn't be the first time Depp has shaved his head for a role.

Why are you all even bitching? Has se officially been cast? No. Has a concrete offer been made? No. This is what happens with the internet! Ten years ago, we wouldn't know jack about a film until filming began. Now, we get news about it at EVERY STAGE from scripting, casting speculation, etc. Spot whining with your pants around your ankles as if she's already gotten the part. Jesus Christ.

I imagine Johnny Depp would shave his head if he got the part. It's just hair. Unless they decide to go the route of that "Lois and Clark" show from a few years ago, where Lex had hair.

I like Johny Dep, but like I said before, I don't think he's menacing enough. Even if he can act well, you have to understand, Johny Dep is Edward Siccorhand, he's a narc in some 80's pop teen show. He always will be.

As far a making Lois dark skinned and ditzy, as apposed to her pale white sleek and intelligent appearance which every Superman story mantains...well, you just figure out how I feel about that.

But this is just my ramblings...the movie could still be good depending on production. But if I was casting for something as traditional/americana as Superman, it would be obvious to me that I should not go to MTV for actors, I should find new undiscovered talent. So as to make a good first impression for the Superman story, rather than trying to suck in an audience by using well known cute and cuddly actors who teens hang posters of on their lockers and bedrooms.
