    Damn... that's some bold shit.

    They might have a bit of a point, too, although "copyright infringement" seems to be an odd thing for them to sue for... but the idea that they might sue RIAA or other industry people for misusing the software in order to send corrupt files or threatening messages might have some legal merit...

    I really can't tell if Kazaa could win because in the terms of agreement Kazaa clearly states that they have no responsibility about what users do with the program, basically giving everyone a get out of jail card. Pun intended.

    as cool as this is, it doesn't matter.
    file sharing is down 40% from last year. whether people have stopped all together or simply keep their files out of the shared folder, it doesn't matter. filesharing is slowly dying off and the RIAA is ultimately getting what it wants.
