On the E Channel, they have that dumb scroll info go by the bottom of the tv. I was flipping through stations and just happened to read it for a second. It said that Ronny Yu has signed up to do Freddy vs Jason 2 and it will come out in the fall of 2005.
Dunno how reliable E is but I'd see it.

I missed it at the theater. I have to twist my wifes arm a bit to rent the DVD. It definately looked good, so I can see how they might want to do a second. If only they didn't use all the good ideas in the first one.
absolutely the most fun i've had at the movie theatre. it was pretty cheesy, but considering the source material, it brought back the old school slasher aesthetic. and the showdown: good god damn.

Does anyone know if theres going to be widescreen version on dvd. ive been searching online to buy one and all i can find on any Canadian site is the fullscreen version. Thought it was kinda weird/
