Story Round 3

Since I’m going to be gone on vacation for a week, I thought I’d put this up before Maelstrom was done, just to get the ball rolling.


This one is going to be a little different.

How different? There’s no definite setting. There’s no definite genre. There’s no definite supporting cast for the main character. We’re talking complete creative freedom. Anything is possible, in any place and in any time.

For this Story Round 3, I want us to expand our creativity and see what happens.

And that means we need a character to pull it off. Thankfully, the internet has blessed us with someone perfect for the job:

Jenny Everywhere.

For those that didn’t catch the buzz, Jenny is an open-source character that anyone can use in anywhy they like, just so long as this paragraph is in there somewhere:


The character of Jenny Everywhere is available for use

included in any publication involving Jenny Everywhere,

Jenny Everywhere is a Shifter, able to shift from one reaility to another. She is everywhere all at once. The posibilities are endless!

So each part is going to be far more open than they have been in the past, you can change setting, story, characters, genre, laws of physics! Anything can be changed within your part, in fact they can be changed over and over again.

My only hope is that in the end we have something that works start to finish and that will be the challenge. Be the most creative you can while making something that, when finished, is a complete and sound story.

On to the standard basics of the story round:

Rules:
2,000 max word count. Prose in nature (though I don’t want to limit anyone to that, if you want to change format as well as settings and characters, go ahead.)


Setting:
-Infinite.


Characters:
-Jenny Everywhere. Jenny is an interdimensional adventurer. Her appearance is variable, but she usually has short hair, goggles, and an aviator’s scarf. She exists in tandem in every possible dimension at once.

I’m opening this one up to 15 parts since there’s sooo much that can be done within the rules.

This ought to be an interesting experiment in extreme creativity with a purpose. Hope everyone has fun with it.

Once Maelstrom is done, everyone can start to decide what parts they want to do.
