Only if you're Japanese. Or have a time machine.

We should have copies at gamestop next monday...

The movie's of the game look awesome. The team cooperative idea, is sweet. For those who haven't seen it yet, you have one person driving the cart, and the other person operates the weapons.

I so can't wait to play this one.

Gamespot gave it a 7.9, and ign gave it the same, i think.

    Egm gave it a 10, a 10 and a 9.5, interestingly enough.

I don't know who to trust!(but i'm broke either way so i don't really care)
Yep, monogamy's where it's at in the 90's.

    sigh...

...sadly, it's not all that good.

The game has been oversimplified to the degree of my little brother, who has only ever played mario kart on the GBA, said, "This sucks, let's just play the gameboy one."

It is a great looking game, but just isn't fun. Not nearly the update standard that Smash Bros., Metroid or F-Zero set.

    That's sad to hear.

If you're looking for a killer racing game on the cube, Sega's F-Zero is really good. A tad tough, but there is a beginner's setting. And it's all superhero based!

I've been playing Double Dash all day today. I absoulutely love it. I played the N64 version religiously everyday for a year with my roommate. We would play to 1000 points. Anyways this game rocks. It's new. It's fun, it's refreshing. Very much worth the money. I personally don't like F-Zero. I am much more into the goofy fun racing games with weapons and such instead of the super high speed all out racing. My roommate and I are going to hook our cubes together and get our friends to play an 8 player race. Looks like fun! Oh and Battle Mode is still very fun.

I pretty well like both types of games.

F-zero is great for me, 'cause it absolutely keeps you right on the edge of your seat. Tough freaking game, too.
