It seems Grant had the plan all along as all of Xorn's abilities are definitely magnetic-based in retrospect (the only time he healed anyone was when he would destroy the nanites in people and he was actually propping up Xavier's spine this whole time.

The only piece that doesn't quite fit is that Magneto has never tried to go undercover for anything. But you know, I don't have a problem with that. He's a smart guy. He came up with a new, original plan. Good for him.

Still the worst comic I ever read. Would have been much cooler if Xorn turned out to be Shatterstar. THAT would have been tenrad. Hell, even Albert would have been cooler than Magneto. Elsie Dee could have busted through the wall...
