    Carnivale

    We'll I liked this. I liked all the characters especially Lodz and Samson. I thought it teetered on the edge of ham-handed preachy but never really crossed that line. The story unfolded rather than be shoved down your neck and it kept me watching it for the entire hour. I'll definitely keep track of this one for a few more episodes in the hopes it doesn't die from repetition.

    Anyone else see it?

    I taped it even though it is being replayed tonight. I swore to my wife I wouldn't watch it without her.

    I'm looking forward to it, though.

    Thanks for not spoiling any of it.

    Sure no problem. I will add that I was impressed with some of the decisions made. I had the same reaction with Unbreakable, the more it played, the more it felt like a comic book. I wouldn't watch it with young kids, it can be a bit creepy and psychologically disturbing, some violence.

    I felt the beginning was a little slow, but towards the end things picked up-it looks very promising.

    No. No-one ever is.

    ;dvl;

    When does this rebroadcast? I'll get my honey to tape it, she gets free HBO.

    But no Comedy Central. Wierd or what? It's some unique cable setup for her apartment complex...

    Anyone keeping up with this show? Pace is slow, but I'm enjoying the slow unfurling of information.

    I've been following it, I don't usually have a show on tv I try to catch every episode of, but slow pace aside I really like Carnivale.
