That's pretty cool. You inking this? If not I would suggest you get real specific with the pencils. I'm having a problem visualizing the areas that words and captions as well as sound efects will go. Hey if you have a DVD of Dark City you may want to check it out especially the last huge battle scene. There's an effect that may help with some of the effects your trying to do. I was told once by Jim shooter that one of the biggest selling points a penciller and inker have is their ability to do spectacular special effects, effects.
When do yo plan on getting this book out?
Be careful with your proportions. The heads seem to get larger when you do a mid range shot. Just use harder lead. It holds its point better so you can do smaller detail.

Dash will be inking this, for issue 2 of Sentaro. I told him he can go nuts with the special effects, and do the sphere as he see's fit.

He's pretty good with that stuff.

Oh, and I have Dark City on VHS...I'll have to watch that again, soon.

Hi FF, I like the page but I don't know Dark City serie and characters so I can't help you with them. The page is nice we can easily got what's up...just a very smart guy here (Loston) time ago told me to not draw in the "out of panel" area...

Hi TheFightingFoetus,

I really like this page. You've got good, clear storytelling and a very dynamic page. That last panel kicks butt. Only a couple of gripes and they're both related to the hands of the male character.

In Panel 1, his right hand (our left) should be at a different angle. We should be able to see more of the part where the thumb is. Right now, because of the pose of the hands, it looks like the wooden pole is folded or bent in the middle. On the other hand, that could be what you intended, in which case ignore me.

In Panel 3, his right hand (our left), the thumb is on the wrong way around. Also, his hand would probably be curled around the staff more. Try gripping a broomstick in that position and you'll see what I mean.
