    Ball Point Pen Art

Greetings Artists, I'm Jerry Stith artist and founder of Ball Point Pen Art here on the Web. I've been drawing or inking in pages for the past 35 years. I have more ballpoint pen drawings published on the Web than all other artists I can find combined. I also have the largest ballpoint pen art sites or network in history.

Ball Point Pen Art represents a new art medium, art movement and American Folk Art. Therefore all artists that draw with a ballpoint pen are part of that School of Thought. Artists from 1938 till today have sketched or drawn pictorial images with ballpoint pens. These images or drawings make up a national treasure art medium.

I'm a self-taught artist born in the United States of America or a Folk artist. My domain names are ballpointpenart.com, .net and .org. My art medium is the ballpoint pen. The programs established are Ball Point Pen Art, BallPoint Pen Art or ballpointpenart. This is a new American Folk Art. That's National or International art history being made and recorded.

Pen artists make up that art movement along with their artworks. Those artworks are being recorded and published around the world as the developers of this art movement. This establishes our archived treasures or art as a mark of excellence. Ballpoint pen's extra-fine tips make half tone lines or the most subtle in art history. The silvertip medium can't produce a half tone line for polishing pictures to a finish.

Nor can any other pen system, because their all water based instead of oil-based inks. That separates the ballpoint pen from all other pens throughout history. Ballpoint pen's half tone lines have established a new and greater mark of excellence. The refinement qualities far excel all other pen systems. That and a durable casing or design.

The ballpoint pen out sells all other art mediums worldwide. Therefore, those users out number all other art mediums. Making ballpoint pen art or drawings the largest art movement in history. Collecting those works from 1938 thru today or displaying ours is use in action.

I've done a few cartoon figures in the past. I loved the action posses displayed it most storyboards or cartoons. It makes me realize how hard your pictures can be to finish. I'm mostly a fine artist with a promotional viewpoint. We fine artists draw the action figures with straight ink and color with a full tone or half-tone line.

We don't brake our pictures into pencil, liners and colorist departments. We start and finish everything with ink. Half tones done very subtly work wonderful at the start of every picture. Straight ink drawing will teach or enforce our disciplines and character. Strength in boldness through practice will prevail in most masterpieces. Striving for increase detail, action, color or perfection makes forward motion.

The ballpoint pen is itself a new art movement and pertains to the Pen & Ink Art Movement as well. We bring people, colors and the wonderful half tone. Never before in art history has the Pen & Ink art movement had such diversity, improvement or excitement. Ball Point Pen Art brings the most detailed camera-ready art lines to our art history. That helps unify the entire pen medium's mark of excellence. Together we stand as an art movement before the entire world.

I'm interested in hearing what you other artists have to say about the ballpoint pen. BallPoint pen art is my claim to fame in this art world. Others that use this same art medium are today leaders if recorded. These things recorded today will be tomorrow's history. If you draw with the ballpoint pen, you're ballpoint pen artists. Publish those drawings as such and make Ball Point Pen Art history.

I really enjoy the high level of art and great statements around here. It's nice to see something-great work. I really like you style and program.

    Thank You,

    Jerry Stith

Very nice art. I didn't catch what the life expectancy of the ink from the pens are on acid free paper. Keep up the great work.

I hardly use ball point pens for art but when I do I tend to be satispied with the way it looks... I should probably use them more. Great art you have going keep it up.

    Don Pedicini Jr., reply

Don Pedicini Jr., I've been drawing with a ballpoint pen from 1968 and my drawings or inks are holding up just fine. I've posted the DIN or ISO 12757-2 ballpoint pen inks now on the marketplace.

Don, good luck with your new web site. Changes are always time consuming or lots of work. Good Luck!

    astrocity, I'm pleased!

Astrocity, I'm pleased you like the way a ballpoint pen drawing looks. I love the half tones and dark colors or maybe the long flowing lines.
