And for all those HB fans out there the big red guy is appearing in some upcoming Dark Horse books and in the next mini: The Island sometime in 2004.

It looks better than I'm afraid to give it credit for. Because I'm the only person who doesn't like the head make-up and I can't see the head in this shot.

I am glad to hear that ya like this shot. It is probably my favorite out of all the ones I have seen. This just looks so much like it came out of the comic, but that is probably because Mike [Mignola] did the storyboards.
I guess I just have a little more to say...
Nate (Akira X): If you like those ones read: Amazing Screw-on Head and the Hellboy story- "Pancakes". They aren't your typical Hellboy reads (and Screw-on Head has nothing to do with Hellboy) but they are fun and I am sure you'd enjoy them. (Also when are you going to post more work? Miss seeing your sketchbook pages)

Oh, I'm definitely going to see it and I'll probably enjoy it because I enjoy Hellboy and I enjoyed the last two Del Toro films. I just really think the Hellboy and Abe Sapien head make-up look extra bad. I mean, I've seen pencil drawings of Hellboy that looked more realistic than that (and it's mostly because of the horns!!).
Abe's face looks too much like a grey alien, and I don't understand why they had to make him psychic as well as being a fish-man. I mean, come on! Fish-man! What more do you need?
