General sketches (side profile / fanart)

I hope these sketches aren't as boring as I think they are, heh. Just a little side profile sketchie here... I'm trying to get back into the swing of drawing but I'm having trouble lately...



And here's some very scary Harry Potter fanart-- I'm not happy with it, mostly cause I couldn't draw a wand if my life depended on it. Cigars or dynamite, sure; wands, no...



That's all for now. Trying very hard to get back to some serious drawing. Appreciate the lookies and of course, the comments.

Cool stuff! I like the Harry Potter one. The profile one looks ok but the nose needs to be placed lower than the eye and you need to put more space in between the nose and the upper lip.

Thanks Brain! If I hadn't been posing them quite so much I would've tried to vary their expression yet more, cause I still felt like it was a little too much the same.

Re: eyebrows, LOL. Not just for the avatar, no -- I cropped a previous webcam pic I already had of myself to make the avatar, in which my eyebrows were already plucked.
