To the X-treme I rock a mic like a vandal
Artist Seeking like-minded writer for creating comics (And perhaps indie publisher)
Greetings!
I'm a 17-year-old penciller and sometimes inker from NY state, and I'm interested in starting a comic with a writer around my age who has the same taste in comics as me. I enjoy superhero comics with lots of fighting, but also with drama and character development . I haven't pencilled for any comics that have been published, but I have recently done a few 22-page comics at home for fun. Hopefully I can find a like-minded writer to work with. I can do inking, it just might take a while since I've only been doing it for a few months. Also, if anyone knows of any indie publishers seeking creative teams, could you let me know? I'm looking to do pencilling as a job, and am looking to be paid only enough to make car payments and buy comics. Well, I've gone on long enough. My scanner's broken, but if you're interested, I can send you through snail-mail some samples of my pencils and even my inks if you're interested. My influences include: Jim Lee (duh), Whilce Portacio, Rob Liefeld, Todd McFarlane, and Barry Windsor-Smith. Anyway, if you're interested, E-Mail me at: UniverseX259@aol.com
Thanks,
Ian

I have written a few projects and have been pimpin' myself all across these boards to find someone who wants to work with me.
I wrote this Ninja Turtles art jam, so you can have an idea of my plotting/writing skills:

I like keeping my stories moving. Fast pace. I hate boring talking pages that comics seem to trend towards lately. I hope to hear from you.
