Since when did bugs ever stop publishers from releasing a game? That's what patches are for, right? I mean, it's not like anyone will mind when they release a shoddy product that barely works...
I have been Beta Testing this game for awhile and just wanted to let everyone know that there are still tons of bugs in the game and I have just cancelled my pre-order. There is no way the game will be ready in 9 days. And they want $14.99 a month but if you get a year it's $12.00 a month. I have had it preordered since the first of the year. I might think about it when the space expansion comes out but until then I will stick with Battlefield 1942, Medal of Honor and Flight Sims. Just wanted to give everyone my two cents in case you are thinking about buying this game.

lol to true Ink. Anyhow I'd play it but there's no way in hell I'm paying the monthly charges for games unless they were reasonable to me which of course these... aren't.
OK the NDA has been lifted and I can say my little rant about this game. Yes I beta tested it. BOOOORING. The graphics are great and so are the sound effects, however the missions are lame. i.e. Go destroy this, go give this to this person, etc. If you are looking for the excitement of the Star Wars Trilogy with all of the running around, shooting, and deep storylines you are not going to get it here. If you like D&D type of games, then you will have fun with this one. As for bugs, they need the Orkin man. If the game were to be released a month later or even in the Fall I would not have that much to say except for the Star Wars flavor just isn't there, but if you ordered the game, expect alot of bugs when you first get on. I cancelled my pre-order like I said and am holding off to see what the space expansion will look like. Now if you want to get what is sure to be a hit. go buy Battlefield 1942 and wait for the Galactic Conquest mod. It looks great, and very fun. There is already a desert combat mod and Vietnam mod out. Not to mention it is cheaper by $20.00 and you don't have to pay monthly to play online (like the $15.000 a month they want to play SWG). Any other Beta players of SWG agree? You can talk now the non-disclosure agreement is lifted.
