Is it just me or does Enter The Matrix really suck goat scrotum!!!!

So Im off for the weekend and i hit the video store.. and low and behold theres enter the matrix. (for games cube my system of choice) and im like... heeyyyy.. ill pick it up for a couple of nights .. check it out..

There goes 10 bucks ill never get back.
all the movie extras are cool... but as a game. this peice of crap is frigging laughable. .. the motion capture sucks.. (why does everyone run everywhere like their trying to win a 100 meter dash)... the colision detection is pretty much non existant. (im beating up and knocking down guys that im not even close to sometimes... the characters run up ladders like their robots with turds in their pants...
and the graphics completely suck.. theres one scene with a car.. where the wheels on it look like the wheels from back in the day of virtua racing. (everyone remember that) and the levels are just ugly.. I wouldnt say they are much better then the first 3d spiderman game that came out like 4 years ago.. (but oh yeah.. that game was actually fun to play)
theres no real pretty effects.. the bullet time gets boring really quick.. ( and actually makes it very boring to play)

has anyone else tried it on different consoles? if so what did you think?

with all the hype that was generated around this game i was expecting something a hell of alot better.. they cant just slap the name matrix on something and think everyone is just going to go nutz over it.

with games like splinter cell and metal gear out there how can this stuff even get released.. hell Max payne was a better matrix game then the matrix.. and it even had better graphics 2 years ago.

the one thing that scared me the most is that i almost preordered this and bought a copy.. *shivvver*

My roommate beat it and I must say I was turned off by the graphics. For the hype it shoulda been a great deal better. I havent played it myself though, wasnt interested. How many times can you dodge bullets and do the same tired kung fu attacks before it gets old?

Awhile for my roommate evidently but he likes just about anything. I dont put much stock in his opinion. Guess he's the kind of gamer this game should be marketed to.

I rented it for the PS2. I thought it was a decent game. The graphics weren't spectacular even though there were some parts where I experienced major lag and choppiness (not that kind of lag). I really thought the story could have flowed a little better. The voiceover for some reason sounded terrible. I don't know. I beat it in the 5 days of the rent (with cheats ). Another thing, you rented the game for 10 bucks? Was the game gold-plated or something?

no no no . it is 10$ canadian . but at the small video store down the street you get 2 games for 2 nights for 10$. which isnt that bad a deal i guess..
the other game was Burnout 2. POI.. i had much more fun with that

yeah... i only really picked it up for the story of it. It added a bit which was cool, but now i'm getting ready to trade it in for credit while i can still get a good price for it.

i'm goin for either Brute Force or Wolfenstein

but yeah... it sucked

I really just got it to see the filmed movie stuff. I rate the gameplay a 6 out of 10. The graphics are fairly poor with tesselation everywhere! The motion capture is poor during regular play but there are some good moves when you're in "focus" mode (walkin' on walls sideways, shootin', then dropin' down and kickin' two SWAT guys at the same time while runnin' out of bullets). I'm gettin' sick of how many damn mazes there are. Every level seems to be just one long drawn out maze. On top of that, when you go thru a door its like you just walked back into the same room again! I'm thinkin' there was some drawbacks for the game designers since the game was released for so many systems. But there I go making excuses for someone else.

I didn't think it was that bad.The only part I didn't like was when you're flying the Logos for the last two levels.That was very painful,if anybody got there,you know what I mean.But I'd say its at least rentable.
