hi. a minor problem with posting images

hi everyone. new member here. while i enjoyed viewng all the threads and all the artworks attached, i did come up with just a minor problem. i was trying to post an artwork to go with a new thread i was going to make, but the forum rules read, "may not post artwork." how can i fix this?

hi, thanks for replying. its at the bottom left part of the page. its under the forum rules where it says MAY post new threads, MAY post replies, MAy edit posts. then theres MAY NOT post attachemtns. i think i said 'MAY not post image' in my first post, sorry but yeah, its still the same thing. i wonder why?

also when i try to insert an image from the IMG tab, a wierd url text appears. its a script prompt and it says enter the text to be formatted. then a "http://" appears in the space where i think youre expected to type a web address? when u click OK, the "http" appears on the message your wrting.

is it supposed to be a link to your website if you have any? because i dont have one as of now.

Members are not able to post "attachments" to the forum - that is, you're not able to upload artwork directly from your HD to the forum software.

You are able to link to an image that you have hosted elsewhere, whether on a free hosting service or on your own Web site. You clicked the right button, all you need to do is provide the image URL (which will begin with "http://").
