    Apple music store?

I know quite a few people that will jump on this and say it wont work butdo you think Apple is the first to do this right?

It's kind of a big step.
The option for PC users will be there by the end of the year, and they talk at the end about this just being the start.
They want to do the same thing with
    movies.

Out of the last 5 albums that I own, three were bough and two were burned from the web.
I buy just as much as I rip off the net so I don't really have an opinion.

I just think someone is finally pushing in the right way.

over 200,000 songs to choose from. More info here.

as long as you are able to download music, that's what i'm gonna do. sorry. I spent enough when I was a kid on INXS and Duran Duran cassettes to make up for it.

and besides, if it's something I really love, I buy it anyway. like Tool, Radiohead, Nine Inch Nails, STP, etc.

plus I think this will help:

i just ordered a 15 gig ipod... dunno if I will use the apple music service though. the one song I havent been able to find online wasn't in their store either.
Its a good idea though, and from checking out some apple message boards theyve already done a fair amount of business just in the first day...

its a 128bit aac file (mp4). The quality is said to be equivalent to a 256bit mp3.
