Well the DoubletreeŽ Hotel Chicago O'hare Airport Rosemont is 159 a night, for three nights that's 477 bucks, split two ways is 238.50. For three nights, that's not bad and be right on the Convention center.
I need to talk to him, if 4 people are going, my guess is splitting a hotel room is out.Originally posted by Chris Piers
I'm pretty sure Jeremy, his wife, his brother and brother-in-law will all be staying for the whole weekend.
Eon, I don't think you'd have to deal with the highway. But I think you might have a hefty walk or a short cab/shuttle ride each time you go to and from the con.

Maybe I'll stay with eonprez and split a car. ;onei;

So, Chris, what would you recommend? First, what are you doing about this? The closer hotels or the hotels.com thing?
As far as splitting a room, Ben-- that would rock! Unfortunately, I think my room is booked with people. Curses-- that would've been cool!
Let me know!
Jeremy
Shoot, I'd walk two miles. But I'm sure cab fare would be about $30-$50 a trip.Originally posted by eonprez

Sold.
I'll call Doubltree soon. If they're booked, I'll try other places connected to the con center. If that's all booked, I'll use Wizard's Travel Organization to book rooms (they reserve a bunch and basically charge the same rate).
I also would rather spend 150 total than 450 total for 3 nights. I don't see me spending much time in the room anyway. I expect some locals to take me out for some adult beverages.
i just booked a room at the Doubletree for Friday and Saturday night.
i got it for $114 per night (which isn't bad at all, considering it's ****ing connected to the convention center AND has FREE PARKING).
and the price won't be bad for me either, 'cuz it's gonna be a friggin' sausage party in that room. so far it's possibly six guys...hahaha.
