That's an awfully big gun you have there, sonny!
Personally, I would prefer the combo of stylized cloths (black n' white), and a realistic face, gun, hands..
Still trying out different ideas for my Matrix draw off picture.
This is me, brandishing a gun in a totally unfriendly manner.......

Even though I hate to admit that thats actually a good idea, If you do it right you'd have a real competing piece.

I know these are just sketches but the bottom right (looking down the barrel) shot has one thing that just pops out at me.
He's not aiming the gun. The sights aren't lined up with his eye...does this make sense?

Good hands. I'll agree with eonprez, the bottom gun pic looks a bit flat, gun dead on, face dead on, but not lined up.
Well, Xadrian and Eonprez -- you'd be absolutely right with your statements.
The reason for the 'lack of aim' was that these pictures were drawn from photo reference.
I put on my suit, picked up a toy gun, set my camera on timer and pulled a few poses.
It would be fair to say that I was concentrating more on 'being ready for the photo' than actually 'aiming the gun'.
You should both be detectives.
