Anyone have a mobile GPS for their car?

Maybe someone here has a mobile GPS in their car or has a friend or family member that does? I'm giving serious thought to getting one since I like to go on long trips and also have a tendency to get very lost.

So far the only one I've really looked at is the Garmin StreetPilot III but I'm not sure it's the best. I want one that you just punch in the address of where you're going and it gives you a map and nice, clear arrows telling you where and when to take a turn ('cuz I've seen this and it was great but it was in the car of a girl I slept with and then never called again).

    Any GPS advice?

I've got a LoJack system on my car. It's basically just a GPS locator.

I got the Kojak theft deterrent system in mine. It's an inflatable doll with Telly Savalas' face on it, sucking a lollipop and blares out 'Who loves ya, baby?' if you try to steal it.

    Heh. That'd scare me off.

However it would be much scarier with Telly's actual body, since he's sorta dead and stuff.
