Capcom: Sagat Sketch

Just a warm up sketch of the second most fiercest fighter in the Stret Fighter game...

[The Chipmunk!]

I like the movement of the character and the expression.

The only thing I think it needs work on is the Body Mass,(Remember that Sagat is close to or exceeding 7 feet tall and VERY massive. You can fix this by making the body more massive and the head smaller.), and the muscles of the legs.

The movement is DEAD ON however and the expression rocks!

(Makes me want to DUCK!)

Not bad i like the sketch allot but a have to conicide with The chipmunk, He needs some more size. and that is about it

I think this is really awesome stuff. I gotta disagree with a couple of guys here tho, is he not shouting towards the sky with a high angle shot? It looks like that to me because of the foreshortening of the abdomen..in which case the legs are a little off. Still great sketches tho, energetic and almost animated looking

I don't think it looks much like Sagat. I always picture sagat having a deeper brow, no real eyebrows, a shorter nose, more stern looking face/jawline.

I also think that the kick is being done wrong. It's way too telegraphed, (meaning that the person *opponent* could see it coming from a mile away). If I remember correctly, Sagat has proper kicks in the game.

Damn, Ray, you know you're my man, but I had to let my feelings be known about this pic.

em there good, but a little too comical when it comes to sagat in my opinion, just the expression and face characteristics make me laugh.
