Since times unremembered, mankind has sought the ultimate weapon. A weapon that can eradicate entire armies with a single stroke and grant it's wielder the powers of a demi-god. Woe unto man, that weapon indeed exists, and one half of it is in the hands of a despotic tyrant! This is the tale of Zhang Shao Chi, the protector of the twin half of this weapon of immesurable power. Until now, his name has been but a whisper of legend, the fables of his heroic exploits having been told and retold throughout the land. Now, the time has come for the legend to awaken. For years, he had wrapped himself in the shadows of myth, keeping his weapon and it's secrets away from the hands of those who would use it for evil. Now, he has been drawn out of seclusion to defeat the evil that posseses his weapons twin. If he should fail, and both halves of the weapon are made whole, humankind will endure eons of pain, torture, and suffering at the hands it's possessor. Joining him on this quest are two stalwart companions. Shin Fei Tao - a young monk with untapped fighting skills, haunted by a past tarnished by a moment of weakness. He now walks the long hard road to redemption, hoping to acheive the forgiveness he so desperately seeks. Siu Wei Loong is a descendant of an illustrious warrior family whose martial prowess is only matched by her beauty. Her life has been spent struggling to be accepted into her family's patriarchal warrior tradition, but now that her chance has come to prove herself, she finds her feet on unsure ground. These three unlikely heroes must overcome their own internal battles and unite to defeat an unspeakable evil. An evil which, if left unchecked, would see the world bow trembling before his sword... or see it consumed in the fires of Hell!
