Your being to narrow and simplistic CW. There was outrage at the time. Gotta watch C-Span more. I watch a lot, maybe too much , of political show's. I have been watching all that went on for the last 15 or so years. Read up on what wasn't covered. So all that crap about Clinton's sexual escapades means nothing to me. If the man could tell the truth he wouldn't have been in all the trouble he got into. It's his own fault, and don't give me any of that they all do it crap. Don't know how old you are or when you became aware of your political surroundings, but maybe your age has a lot to do with your perceptions. Maybe.
Oh Banshee, I like plain spoken people. I dislike people who talk too much. Excluding message board loudmouths like myself of course. When someone talks too much I feel like I'm being conned. Simple, clear concise, straight to the point. That's what I like. Hate foreplay. I don't know anything about Malaysia and it's issues, bu when your government get's itself in trouble i just wish you all would just take care of it yourselves and stop looking for handouts from us. This goes for all foreign nations. I wish we could just withdraw our troops, stop the flow of foreign aid to people who just end up resenting our help. You people should be left alone to die or prosper on your own. But as long as we have interest around the globe we will help and protect our allies. Even when they really don't deserve it. like Germany and Turkey. What Turncoats. I don't blame turkey so much seeeing as how they are new too the ole democracy game and just had a parliamentary foul-up. But there is absolutely no excuse for Germany's turning on us. Hatred of Bush is going to cost these countries badly, Real badly. You'll see how quickly the economies of the three countries will be affected. Even Canada is feeling the Crunch right now. Hope their new Prime Minister has more brains than Hatred.

Not to say Clinton didn't try to do something, But like everything else it was half assed. Do you remember any follow ups on the Missile strikes? Neither can I. Well Go and look for yourself, there's plenty there. Some bad story's regarding Bush as well, I'm sure you'll lap those up.

No No, Don't do that PJ. He has the right to spew, maybe not on this board but he's harmless.
I don't mean Handouts like as in Money, but military and other entities tied to our government.
You see, a dirty little secret is that the only reason This country get's involved militarily in other countries is usually at the request of said Government. Most Muslim Or Islamic countries hide their associations with The US because they know their country men do not like the US.
Look at Jordan, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, and Pakistan, not to mention Indonesia. They would and do have uprisings whenever the US get's involved in anything that has to do with Muslim countries.
But The Muslim countries Governments understand that there is only one big dog on the block and that we here will help. Maybe for Trade or Oil or Military bases or whatever, but we will help. I just wish Most of those countries could take care of those issues and contain their problems. Oh well Whatcha gonna do eh?

I don't necessarily mind discussion about the war. But I don't like the idea of using this forum to distribute propoganda. If folks want to read the latest whacko conspiracy theories or seek out obvious editorial comments masquerading as news, they're free to do so on their own. This forum isn't the "infodump" for such things.
