Songs that... haunt... you. Songs that haunt you, yeah.

For a lack of a better word I guess. What I mean is songs that stick with you way after you listen to them, that when they come on you stop everything and just listen to the music and the lyrics in a daze, paying attention to every word and note. And when the song is over, you stop and think about it, the way you hold a good book you've just finished for a few minutes. I'm not saying that they have to deeply effect you, or that you have some personal connection to them, just songs that make you go "..."

Here are a few that I can think of that I've heard recently.

    Olive- You're not alone
    Coldplay- In my place
    Christina Aguilera- Beautiful
    Jimmy Eat World- Sweetness
    Massive Attack- Teardrop
    David Kitay- Ghost World Theme
Danny Elfman- Edward Scissorhands theme/overture (not sure of the real name)
Chemical Brothers (feat. Tyler Durden)- This is your life

    Hows about you guys?
