I thought that part was supposed to be sarcasm. Mock the government for doing something stupid, while simultaneously using the attention that garners to show something useful.

I have no clue who Michael Moore is, couldnt afford an SUV even if I wanted one, and hate people from hollywood.

However it really pisses me off when people say so matter of factly that americans dont care about the rest of the world. Thats why nearly every conflict we've ever been in has been in the defence of another country. Thats why I'm sitting in Korea right now, away from my wife and kid defending this little country from nuke wielding loonies in the North. Yeah, we dont care at all.

Maybe alot of Americans dont care, but dont say all. Thats stereotyping a lot of hard working americans into a group they dont belong in.
