I was pretty excited when I heard about it. Ron definately has that role pegged. Think he'll do great, cant wait to see it.
I was wacthing City of the Lost Children the other night and it got me thinking about the hellboy movie (yeah I know it won't be out for awhile) in any case I think Perlman can pull it off. I am pretty optimisitc about his role as hellboy, though I wasn't so sure when I first found out. Any thoughts?

I think everyone is confident that between Del Toro and Perlman, this character will be spot on. Hopefully the rest of the film will work as well, but I think Del Toro can handle it.
as opposed to the upcoming daredevil stunt I thought at once I heard Ron Perlman was up for the role that it was a perfect match. I'm very curious as to how it really turns out.
side note: didn't del Toro direct Chronos? I've missed that one.

I'm really looking forward to this. I'm sure it'll work, especially with Mignola so closely involved with production.
