For some reason, I feel incredibly inspired today.
Was it something in the air?
The sudden change of the sun's warm glance into the bitter wind's biting bellow?
I'm not sure.
Things like this can't really be explained. And if you try to , you always feel that you don't quite capture the true meaning...the true essence, of the wonderful reality that escapes you all too soon.
But, while this fleeting urge is still upon me, I feel...no I COMPELL myself to make haste in reaching one who somehow, may feel the same way, and aspires the same dreams as I do.
I guess I should get to the point, right?
Well, here is the deal. Straight up. No bull.
I have been developing a story called the House of Dreams.
Now, I am severely paranoid about posting my ideas online.
It is just TOO easy for someone without any imagination or creative passion to rip it and turn the idea into a horrible concoction of poorly executed plots, concepts and imagery and destroy the baby I went through the labor of giving BIRTH TO!!!
a hem...
So, I WILL say that the story is "inspired" by such works as: The Labyrinth, The Dark Crystal, The Chronicles of Narnia and countless other experiences and nightmares I have had throughout my life.
I believe the concept is highly original and there is currently nothing like it in the entertainment industry. Now, I am sure there are similar things out there, and I would be an egotistic, maniac to assume that there isn't.
But here is what I have to offer YOU.
My gift as a writer with a highly original, well thought out concept/idea/story framework. A professional painter that has done so many things in the entertainment field you would think he is 200 years old. And a PASSION. A burning, pure, intense passion to go where comics have not gone. To bring a fresh, new book to an ever growing, ever diversifying market.
There is no upfront pay.
Let me say that again.
THERE IS NO UPFRONT PAY.
If you are just looking for a comic project so you can make a quick buck, this isnt the project for you. But, I thank you for taking the time out of your day to read this.
BUT, if you always had the desire to create something special, something extraordinary. To experience the uncanny feeling of connecting with a writer and being exposed to a synergy only a true collaboration can bring, please email me. So many people pass by a great chance, and a great experience for a quick buck on a project they get no joy from. I am not asking you to give up your life, but rather, look deep inside yourself, find that inner child, and set him free. Give him a chance to do what he knows he was always meant to do.
Ok...this has gone alot longer then I have expected, and I apologize for that.
Basically, if you are interested please email me.

And please, no amateurs, I have some very strong publishing contacts and I need SERIOUS, passionate artists who truly want to make a difference.
Thank you,
With Honor,
Chris White,
The Crafter

Chris, I like you and I think you have some good ideas but you've been posting announcements like this for over two years (ever since the old Wizard World days). I only bring it up to suggest that you possibly make some changes to achieve results.
I think if you really believe in your ideas you should strongly consider paying artists and self-publishing. It's really not that hard. You only publish as many copies as you know you'll sell so you can take out a small loan from a bank to pay for what you know you'll sell. The only expense you have to pay up front is a page rate for your artists. But maybe after years of trying to get things going, it's worth considering? If you truly believe in your ideas, this is the kind of showing of faith that will have good artists lining up to work with you.
