    Dreams

Lately, I've been having , (I think) scary dreams. This is a totally new thing for me since the last I can remember having scary dreams i was 12 or so. Isn't that supposed to mean something?

Plus, last night, (ever since I found my stuffed Rapheal ninja turtle doll and started sleeping with it so he can ninja protect), i had a good dream, but i dreamt about sleeping.

Anyway, all of this has me interested in dreams now, so what the hell? are there any cool sites that tell you about stuff like that?

I'm sure Inkthinker probably knows what it means already . What about you people? what's up with YOUR dreams?

It means you really are gay. *shrug* Sorry...

Nah, if I knew what you were dreaming about I'd throw out a pop-psych semi-educated guess, but "scary dreams" could mean anything.

It means you need to quit riding the man train to work.

Nah, it more than likely is just an indication that you've got stress in some area of your life (how vague is that?).

I think it means something is changing in your life, whether the change external or internal. At least that's what i was told when i suddenly started to have the same reoccuring nightmares again. I don't know about the fear thing, just the shift in mental climate-emotions have a much stronger bearing on the mind then any though process. Your lucky, I never had a 'friend' to make me feel safe, only a 'thing'. I had two bad dreams in a row last month and took out my 'thing' and wrapped myself in it-to my horror-it was infested with beetles, and now I have to go burn it, now I have nothing.

When I was little, I tried the warm milk thing but only wound up having severe abdominal cramps. My dad used to give me a shot of Crown Royal if I had trouble getting to sleep. The only problem there is that the alcohol impeded my ability to have any dreams whatsoever those nights.

    aahhh whiskey

that's because you don't reach the same level of sleep when you're impaired...sure, booze often helps you clock out, but the sleep you get with alchohol in your system isn't as good ( yay psych class!)

i also think i need a shirt that says "hug your turtle real tight"!!!!

I've had some pretty wierd dreams myself.

Whenever I eat spicey food before I go to sleep I have dreams that feature cameo appearances by various "Muppet" characters, like that one episode of "The Cosby Show".

I've had dreams that felt like a continuation of a previous dream. Kind of like deja-vu, I guess.

I had a dream about a childhood friend that I haven't heard from in years, and the next day got a phone call from him. I had a dream I was driving around town with my friends, and we came to a stop at this intersection and I noticed a wierd looking, red PTcruser-like car at the other light. I didn't think anything of it until the next day when we were at that exact intersection and I saw that wierd looking red car, in the same spot as in my dream.

Pretty insignificant things to have psycic premonitions (or precognitions, or whatever they're called) about, but I think the events were something more than coincidence.

I've also had some wierd, drunken dreams that were hazey, but felt incredibly real, due to the fact that I was drunk while dreaming them.

My favorite dream is a toss-up between the one when I'm being chased by gangsters with "tommy-guns" all over town, doing crazy gymnastic flips over fences and across rooftops, and the one when I discover I have the ability to levitate and teach myself how to fly throughout the course of the dream, until I realize I'm dreaming and wake up.
