VISUAL REFERENCE FOR COMIC ARTISTS: VOL 2 SHIPS IN DECEMBER
    Follow-up CD-ROM contains 500+ ALL NEW photos

The second volume of the CD-ROM “Visual Reference for Comic Artists” will ship in December, 2002 in time for the holiday season.

Published through After Hours Press, the $10.00 CD-ROM contains 500+ photos of all-new male and female models in dramatic superhero poses.

“Visual Reference Vol. 2 makes a great stocking stuffer for the comic artist in your family,” says Buddy Scalera, creator. “People who bought Vol. 1 told me what they wanted to see on Vol. 2, so I shot a lot of special material.”

The CD features all-original photographs of people, places and things. There are shots of male and female models, an 18-wheeler truck, an airplane cockpit, lots of rubble, lots of cityscapes, and all types of common everyday objects a comic book artist may need for reference. There are even photos for hard-to-draw scenes like kissing and drinking.

An online preview is available at: http://www.buddyscalera.com/

The models are posed with guns, weapons, and other objects that allow an artist to get perfect perspective and anatomy. Shots include straight-on, birds-eye, worms-eye, etc.

The CD is Mac and PC compatible and will be available through most comic book stores and the Joe Kubert School.

Featured in Diamond Previews October, 2002 (page 218; OCT02 2281).

Hey, guys-- honestly, Buddy is a really nice guy. I met him at this summer's WizardWorld Chicago and he knows his stuff. I bought the first CD jsut to get him off my back-- but it actually comes in quite handy with photo reference of things you can't find easily online OR offline.

I highly recommend the new disc, if it's ANYTHING like the FIRST one. Just an opinion.

THINCAGE GIVES IT 4.3 out of 5 STARS FOR COMIC ARTIST GOODIES!
