RAW pisses me off tonight

So...anybody else offended by WWE's RAW tonight, or am I the only person who thought they've crossed the line?

If you didn't see RAW, basically what happened is, they had this lame storyline about some "Hot Lesbian Action", in which they kept showing these two girls being extremely friendly, and then after a while, they bring them into the ring with Eric Bischoff. He entices them to do a bunch of stupid lesbian stuff, that I guess appeals to kids who've never seen this before.

After they go through all of his motions, he has two giant black wrestlers assault these two blonde chicks from behind, and they beat the crap out of them for no other reason, than to get off on beating these girls.

They yuck it up, and I'm watching, thinking "well, here's where the hero comes out, and mete's out some justice."

But it never happened. They just show these guys all leave the ring, having a blast, and I'm thinking, "what about the kids growing up, without parental supervision?"

What exactely is going wrong with society, when we're now packaging violence against women, in the most stereotypically racist form imagineable, and telling viewers that some people get off on violence against chicks? And look, the bad guys get to laugh as they leave, without anybody to stop them.

Great stuff, WWE!

Whatever happened to putting on some good old wresting matches? What's with all this bullshit, and 5 minutes of lesbians in a ring, before their beaten from behind?

I didn't think it crossed the line but it was stupid. I pretty much called it at the beginning. I told my roommate, "ah, it's just fodder for Rosie and Jamal".

On a related side-note, I can't stand JR and the King anymore. They're so out of touch. They take me out of every match with their stupid chatter about storylines and King's incessant blathering about girls.

The WWE in general has sucked as of late and. The weekly two thugs jump people from behind thing is just lame. Sometimes it seems to me that wrestling shows only have so much to offer.

That has been my sentiment with wwf as well. They seem to think its great fun and sooo entertaining to have these little random acts of violence on women. I was never entertained to see a woman go flying through a table or "wrestle" with men 3 times their size
I think its pretty bad..... i actually would like to see this brought to the head honchos attention and cut out

I quit watching some time ago... it just ceased to be entertaining.

Although JR's commentary never ceases to amuse me. That man could make taking a crap sound like a major crisis.

"OH MY GOD!! THERE'S NO TOILET PAPER!! THERE'S NO TOILET PAPER!!! OH MY GOD! OH, THE HUMANITY!! OH, DEAR LORD, HOW COULD ANYONE LET THIS HAPPEN!! OH, MY GOD... OH MY GOD!!"

Oh, and Jerry Lawler's dialogue...he says stuff like "ass-clown" tonite, which is admittedly funny, but it makes me picture him with a list of current slang terms, randomly picking them as he rambles.

I don't watch wrestling much, never have, but sometimes I want to check out some matches. But wrestling now, isn't much about wrestling anymore.

I miss the days of Hogan Vs. Andre, where matches would last 25 minutes plus, and you were always on the edge of your seat. What's a long match nowadays? 12 minutes?

I'm going to go play some Firepro Wrestling, and vent on Vince Mcmahon...

I watched wrestling faithfully as a child, and about followed it regularly 3 times growing up.
I never really saw much of any Female Wrestlers other than Chyna, which , umm. . . . well. . . .

I think if I saw 2 Black dudes beating on 2 chicks on some show I would most likely curse out the T.V.(It never helps) and never watch the show again.
That is some bullshit, one thing I HATE is violence towards females(by males)

heh heh - sorry about that man..it just slipped out. I don't watch it much, so I missed the match you're talking about - sounds pretty damn un-entertaining, though. This whole Raw vs Smackdown thing bores the hell out of me - when the Rock turns evil, and starts laying the smackdown whilst wearing a Versace shirt, somebody PM me. That dude is hilarious.

Well, Eric Bischoff is the reason WCW sucked, now he has infected WWE. I still don't understand the logic behind that choice. It's the Stone Cold effect, once he left, it all started to fall apart. I want Steve Austin back, he is just more entertaining to watch.
