    I prefer seeing the ship above the debris and planet. You lose the ship among the planet along with the debris field. Having the ship in the top left means you see it first, unless this is manga. I assume the ship is just arriving to this sad scene, so I would have us behind it, looking down on the scene with the ship. #3 is very close to what I'm seeing in my mind. Also, pointing the bow of the ship towards the planet also guides our eye there too, just like one character looking at another does the same. Hope it helps.

    On another note, there is usually a page turn after page 1. Hard to open with a two pager.

    Very close. I did a mock up based off your latest version. I just made the ship closer to us, the viewer and tilted the planet so the debris felt more like a ring, like Saturn.

    Here is the interesting part: I did this right after the first one but didn't upload it. I read over your post again and this popped out. I like how the ring is wider in your version so I'll add that in.Thank you Veritas!
