nice panels... wish i could help on painting, it's not my strong point. Question though? p4: Why isn't he still holding on to his pick that was wrapped around his wrist? it would seem that it would help him to pull himself up.

Nice looking page
One thing....in panel 5, after he's just climbed up off the cliff, we see him staring off at the landscape (the presumption here is that he is looking straight ahead - rather than behind him, back at where he's just come from). So, if he's looking straight ahead -- why don't we see the spaceship in front of him in that panel? It's clearly right in front of him - because its right there in panel 6.
Unless this is a 'space madness' storyline - and he's experiencing a mirage? Hmmm. I guess that could be it.
Regardless of that, I really like the style.

Pnl 4- Left hand is bigger than the right. And Beastie is spot on, as usual, with the 5th pnl. If he is looking back off the cliff at the vastness of the desert, then you should really pan out so that we see the ship behind him as he looks off the cliff. Never depend on the words that go in a panel to describe the scene. Do it with the art as well.
Pretty cool work. Now I want to know what happened and what's going to happen next. Very effective.
Coppertop- After I completed the page I regretted not having him holding the pick in panel 2, I definitely should/shouldve changed it, thanks for your input!
Beastie- He is supposed to be looking at the landscape from where he just climbed, opposite the ship. I totally see now how that could be confusing, thanks for pointing that out! Also thanks for the kind words, I love your art and style, so anything positive from you means a lot! Thank you sir!
Shannonh- That hand gave me more trouble than anything! I'm glad you pointed it out though, this way I know its more blatant than its not. Thank you, Im glad you dig the suspense side of it! I'll be posting more!
Yeah, I too am not a fan of that "climbs forward = is looking back = is now walking forward"
Hard to change at this point though.
