    Just a pitch...

I haven't worked on any sequentials in about 5 years, I enjoy doing pin-ups. These are some random pages I was commissioned to do for a pitch. I'm proud of my inks, not sure about my pencils. Sometimes I feel I just need to focus on inking. I haven't posted anything in a while so I figured I'll just post these.

    Just for kicks......

    Cool works!

Second page last panel- His pointing finger is extremely short. The rest of your hands look great.

Also, try pulling the camera out more. Most of your shots are straight on and above the waist.

The inks and pencils are very clean and easy to read. I can't wait to see more.

On the tilted panels, tilt them to the right. Not all of them, but try to as much as possible to tilt them to the right, that way yer eye will keep moving to the right - right to the next page. If you do tilt to the right, which I like to do too, make sure there is some element int he scene that leads you back ti the right - kinda like a neon sign pointing us( the reader) to move on to the right with our eyes. And also, since the type of panel is kinda like a special effect, use it sparingly, otherwise it gets very repetitive quick and you get get tired of reading it. All in all, not pade for not having drawn sequintials in 5 years.

    Keep it coming

PS: Watch yer perspective. make sure you use those guides. And SIK pin-up btw!!

@ Shannonh. Thanks for the crit, I've been told to back off on the camera before. I'm just so stubborn because I hate drawing small figures. I have OCD when it comes to certain details and feel the need to always draw big. It's something I really need to work on.

@ Caanan02. Great advice on the tilting. It's something that never crossed my mind before. Thank you!

In the third Panel of the second Page, i find the hand of the bearded man a little too small and too clean.
I think it should be a little bigger to get the perspective right, and some more wrinkles would make it easier to connect it to the man. The inner mouth of the boy should be shaded black or grey i think, even if its just the reflection. Also when i was looking at those first three frames i was a little lost what was happening there.

The interrogation scene is very cool, the way you put several timelines in one frame, i like that a lot!!

Also like mentioned from someone before: Nice Pins!!!

    Greetz,

    Pete
