I remember it being very popular when I was younger because of Williams being relevant, and I think it had the kid from Jurassic Park so peoples interest at the time were maybe spiked. I have no idea what kind of money it made, but it was alllll over the tv and magazines for awhile.

I remember it being revolutionary (at the time) for it's use of CGI. Looks a little dated now, but back in 1995 that shit was bleeding-edge.

Crickets, has it really been 15 years...

It was just a really fun-ass movie. I was very hard-pressed to find things I didn't like about it (those spiders would be the closest I'd pick... but I just hate spiders.)

Well, for me, since I've now lived here for close to a decade, the significance of Jumanji was that it was filmed in Keene, NH. So, it's kind of cool to watch now and be able to recognize just about every street shot.

I guess if they can remake Spider-Man after just a decade, it's no shock they're hitting up films that are not even 20 years old.

I really liked Jumanji. Probably the only movie that Kirsten Dunst didn't annoy me. I don't feel that it needs a re-make, but whatever.

Tigerland made me forgive Joel Schumacher for Batman & Robin.

Well, I'd agree with Tigerland and Minority Report, and looking at IMDB I can now remember him being pretty good in Horrible Bosses (he was actually pretty funny in that one) and Crazy Heart (microscopic role, though) too.

Of course nothing can forgive the huge pile of poo that was Miami Vice ...

I'd like to add Phone Booth to the list.
