I was commissioned by http://loai989.deviantart.com/ to do a banner image for his blog 'No Backspace: http://nobackspace.ca/ ' . I threw around some concepts at him and this is the one he decided on. I had some internet difficulties in the middle of doing this so I was behind schedule and couldn't get feedback from him for a while so to make up for that I made it a bit more detailed than we originally agreed on.

Also got to try my new colouring technique on the glove, keyboard and mech model, it works better than I expected.

nice job. clever idea, well executed.
Great style and great pic. Reminds me how one of my work-mates removed the Power button from his keyboard as he was kept on hitting it accidentally:-) (He was also keen to describe how he would remove the fingers of whoever designed a keyboard with a power button on it :-D)
