Best way to display comics at Cons?
I'm going to be attending my first Con as a seller with an actual table. It's a really small one, the Alternative Press fair in London, but I still want to have a decent display.
To those of you with con experience, what do you recommend as the best way to display your books?
I only have half a table so won't be able to have big flashy banners or anything.
I have an A4 sized book as well as two A5 sized zines from my friends as well as art prints.
What advice do you have for con display! I am eager to hear tips from the seasoned vets!
You really won't get much choice with half a table
I use these things for postcards and a few prints though. - http://www.wirefittings.co.uk/acatal...r_Counter.html
They definitely save on space - and are pretty cheap on Ebay.
Our vision is based on phototropics, so lots and lots of BRIGHT colors if you can. Bright tablecloths or a lamp -anything bright. Light always captures our eyes more than the amount of space, nor the size of table.
However, if you can get a banner, even a skinny one, will help attract attention from further away.
