Spidey vs. Electro....Fight!

Hey guys....this is my glorious introduction to the forum. Friend me and help me figure out how to use this place! This is sort of an older drawing, but I will post some new stuff over the coming days, once I've gotten my feet wet. Also, somebody tell me how to get started in the proving grounds!

At first I was all like oh here comes another spiderman drawing. Then I looked at it pretty good man! Post some more stuff!

great rendering! the first panel confused me though! at first i thought spidey was jumping towards the camera from the wall, i think because i'm used to the "real" spidey being fully rendered with webbing and the "ghost" spideys being without. but also pose 1 and pose 3 don't really fit the arc of the movement! if you look at number 3 he'd actually land lower on the wall than he does.
also in panel 4, is he reacting to electro or is it something behind him? if it's electro then the chance in camera angle is confusing, if it's behind him then i think we should see electro!
sorry if that sounds negative, i really like this page reminds me of dfboveys work, the rendering is fantastic and i'm in awe of the backgrounds (mine look like fingerpaints in comparison!) i would be more than happy to read a spiderman issue in this style!
also something you do very well, that i've only just noticed is very difficult, is that you stay "on model" with spidey all the way through!

Great observations, crazyjedichicken! That actually helps a lot. Unfortunately, this is actually an old piece that I probably won't do much with, but the advice is great! I'll start posting my roughs of my current work on here, so i can get some of these awesome critiques in-process!
