    thumbnails for 3 page spidey script

    just some quick thumbnails for a 3-page spiderman script by loston wallace. these are my first attempts at sequentials in nearly 11 years! feeling good about them but would appreciate any tips or pointers on where im going wrong! these where just to work out the poses, i'm going to work on the backgrounds when i move up in size! these are on a4 copy paper! thanks for looking!





    and heres some quick sketches of some of the panels to get a better idea of them in my head!

    pencils for page one! backgrounds still need to be added but fairly happy with this!

    i re-drew panel two to make it flow better if i get the time i'll post the re-drawn page but i stopped half way through page three as i found my self drawing in a completely different style by page three so i'm going back to the drawing board on these pages!

    The main thing I notice about these pages is that the characters are the same size in just about every panel and the camera is at the same level on just about panel as well. I'd vary it up a bit, throw in some overhead shots, some worm's eye shots, do some extreme close-ups, zoom way out and show the whole environment, etc.

    yeah that's what i noticed as well as i went along! these where my first pages and i learned a lot! i'm glad i did these because i learned a lot but i'm not happy with the result! thanks for taking the time to post and have a look! hopefully you'll see improvement in my next batch of pages!
