    Quite nice sketches, Duhburger.
The front shot is stronger thou, but then, they are just sketches so you might not have gone for the same level. I really like the nose-mouth area in that one, but I think you lose spatial depth at the top half of the head, especially around the forehead and the hair. That might be down to not highlighting the hair so its actual position in space is not clear. And with less rendering there is only the hair to define the forehead's shape.

The other sketch in the top right corner starts nice again with the chin and the mouth, but things in the top part feel out of place. The forehead definitely isn't following the orientation you established with the lips and the nose as it is not tilting back, but is almost perfectly vertical. The hair is again really flat and disturbing as it suggests quite a different shape and orientation for the skull than what would come from the features. First I thought that each of the eyes and the also the jawline was off even in relation to each other, but after masking the hair out with my finger I had the feeling they could work if wasn't for the hair.

Do you draw the whole skull before bringing the hair in (as if the character was bold)? If not try that it might help with the hair.
    Cheers,

Thanks alot. I start with the look of the face and the expression then build the anatomy around that.
