    Senji's Art dump: Logne Wolf

Hello guys, a short time lurker here!

So I'm an aspiring comic artist, working on a Graphic Novel idea for a little over a month, thought I'd share the conceptual sketches that I've done in between breaks (still working on the plotline urgh...) You'll probably notice alot of sporadic art styles and proportions, they keep changing whenever I look at somebody else's work.

    Couple of CG doodles

And the rest are scanned pencil sketches

    Doh on the head size

Random crap - I flopped on the Merc design so I just drew crap around it

I'll be posting more info/pics as they come so any feedback/crits/question is more than welcome! Hope you like it!

Man, great stuff. Dig the way you draw eyes.

I'll echo the sentiment about more sequentials. If your compositional and storytelling skills are up there with your illustrative ones I'd say you have it in the bag.

I was thinking of replying only when I had a sizeable update but Hayfever has been kicking my butthole lately so I figured a little overdue gratitude was in order.

Many thanks guys! literacysuks1, that's a very nice compliment man I'll do my best not to disappoint!

Some of the work in this board has blown me away, so much so that I'm starting to get a lil paranoid when I scribble away lol. So I've been trying to draw lines clean and tight, as oppose to frenzy strokes. More doodads to share:

Maybe its about time I gave a little background on the comic.

    Theme & Influences
Appleseed/Ghost in the shell and Metal Gear Solid. Espionage, spec ops that sort of thing. In terms of story telling, I'm very influenced by western comics as they really get into the character's head and explore many different forms of perspectives which tend to be deep and philosophical.

    Barebone story Outline
Logne Aetholphus, is a 15 year old bastard child of many formidable Mercenary Guardians belonging to a phantom military group known as, The Band of Merc. She is ruthless and borderline autistic with no social skills, a superficially conditioned feral child of war.

Mitzi Fördern is a typical Highschool girl that seems to have a connection with an enigmatic underground superpower that has dibs with the global drug network.

Logne is sent out under the guise of a Highschool student to sniff out possible leads that could be lurking in Mitzi's shadow. Little did Logne know, Highschool life was proving to be very difficult as she struggles to fit in normal society.

Meanwhile... The Federal Government, having discovered the underground organisation through other chain of events, sanctions a new counter terrorist division, CTD: Strike to investigate.

Well that's the premise, I've got a few really cool scenes in my head I'm just tryna tie it all together into a meaninful story Arc.

Thanks for reading! Feedback and suggestions always welcome

Cheers Juggertha! Still working on the story and designing chars as they come. I really wanna jump into the meat of sequential art but I'm fighting it down coz I feel like I should really nail the plot down (its a incoherent mess atm) otherwise I might end up with unintended plotholes.

I've noticed you're from Seoul, are you Korean by any chance? :O

Good stuff in here! Getting a Metal Gear feel from a lot of it.
