Good rendering, and I dig the cowboy theme and idea.

Advice: Proportions - his arms are ultra small compared to the rest of his body. Elbow should fall at around the belly button, fingertips halfway to knee if not further.
Lower Leg. 2 Head lengths from knee to foot.
The neck is a little bit off center as well.

Nice job with the hats, boots, and all the folds. Good stuff on all that.

Thanks, Zippy! I really appreciate the help! I am pretty much just starting out (been drawing for a while, but unintentionally conditioned with a disregard to proportions, demension, etc..) and can use all of the advise I can get!!!

Sure, thank you for showing an interest!

Half Jewish and half Mexican, Miguel Weismann (Captain Mexico), is the side-kick for one of my other characters, Omission Man. Although Omission Man is the main superhero, his large, but oafish physique and cheesy over the top mannerisms require the Captain to be the more serious of the two in order to preserve their vow to uphold justice in the apocalyptic city of Rockland. Omission Man was an ex-college football player that had one too many concussions leading to amnesia; consequently, he convinced himself that he was a superhero. The only reason why Miguel (Captain Mexico) got into crime-fighting was to ensure that his best friend, Blaine Fredrick (Omission Man) doesn't get killed.

I know you said it was an original character...but it looks like George W. Bush to me. is it just me?

I like it. Oddly enough it looks a lot like how I imagined the main character from the story I'm working on. Good work.

    Thanks, InkedT.

This was my first attempt at drawing him - maybe I will put together a character sheet. I may change him up a bit; not too sure.
