    Forum software upgrade incoming

Now that we've upgraded to the current version of the forum software, we're planning to upgrade the forum software to the latest version. This will implement some security and bug fixes (Double Posts!) as well as a couple of new features (Activity Stream!). This will require a couple of hours of downtime later this week or next. We'll try to provide a more concrete schedule as it gets closer.

Since the move this place has been on point, no lag, no double posts, nice.

I've noticed several times that I've gotten the "Website is offline" when I tried to post (or issue a report post) over the past wee - usually, the post actually does go through, even though I got the offline message.

Yesterday I tried to post something, and it asked me if I wanted to stay on the page or leave the page, so I clicked on leave the page, and my post got cancelled. I ended up having to type everything a second time, and then it went through.

Jussa, Ace - some of that (leave this page?) is flaws in the forum software's handling of the Ajax code in the Quick Reply box. I'm trying to schedule to upgrade to the latest version soon.
