I dunno, it's better than some old Atari games I remember. It pretty well captures a certain feel for games from the early 80's.

How in the blue hell did all those video game companies give them the rights to this? I would think their asses would be too tight to EVER let something like this happen.

Love how Zangief is in the villain meeting even though in SF canon he is a hero. that alone had me on board.

Oh I definitely think this looks fun. But I'm just beyond curious as to how it's happening.

I seriously hope this is not a musical... I tried to watch tangled, and only got about ten minutes in before someone started wistfully staring into space in that special get-ready-cause-I'm-about-sing kind of way. I had to turn it off after just the first note. Although I do enjoy a lot of the classic animated musical features from disney, their modern musicals turn my stomach. Which is too bad, because the animation looked like it could have been alright fun to watch.
I bring it up because I don't think any of the trailers for tangled indicated that it was going to be a musical. Though I could be wrong; maybe it was wishful thinking on my part.
I don't think you have to worry about that. Disney's last two animated features were princess films that harkened back to their musical classics. They're obviously going for a different demographic this time.
The thing with Tangled was that the marketing department was too afraid to sell what it actually was. They wanted the boy demographic to also see the film, and they don't tend to go for musicals.
