Interesting story, but if it was drawn up as written (without dialogue/narration), I'm not sure readers would understand it, as we only understand it because you're using the panel descriptions to go in depth to explain what things mean. Certain things like the significance of the girl parting her hair on the left, would get missed.
In any case, it would be visually entertaining.
Edit: I also like how you bookended the story by having the beginning and ending panels in a set placement with the freeform panel arrangement throughout the rest of the story.

Nice story, pretty clear what was going on and no real crits although I didn't really get why the can-bomb was plan B for the woman.

I think the pre-breakdown you do for the script is probably a very useful tool for artists in understanding and being able to better visualize the story.
As for the story itself, even though this kind of story has been told before, I like the details you added (like the WinUx "blue window of death" - I wonder if Microsoft is unintentionally responsible for the robot armageddon ?) and the background details of the environment. Nice job.
OK, congrats to MYNameIsTommy and his entry, Silence and thanks to everyone who participated.
I'll have the next contest up soon and I'll finish my last two critiques for this contest tomorrow.
Hiya Cbikle,
Thanks for the crit - appreciate that you (and everyone else!) took their time out to read it!
And congrats to M.N.I.T. for the win!
So many ideas, so little time...
LOST BUT NOT FORGOTTEN by JWall Good story; kind of reminded me of The Shining, but on an ocean liner.
Nothing is With Thee by Tudore
Some interesting imagery at the end, but early in the story, I think too many pages are used for the setup and I would liked to have known more about this "hospital" that Bartoleme is a patient of.
Also, MNIT hasn't contacted me back with the new theme for the next contest, so the theme will be the first one posted in this thread.
