Very nice work. On page 4 it's a little tough to see how the panels relate but I'm sure with the dialog and captions in there it would be a bit easier. The art looks great though.
Here are the first 7 pages of a project I'm currently working on, tentatively called Edenfall.

Your rendering, as always, is very impressive. Your page layouts are very cool, too.
Did you write this?
Will these pages be inked, or are you going to go straight to colors?
Money can't buy you happiness, but it will pay for the search.
Really nice work. I especially like the tilted panels on the last page.
Thanks, inkedt. The cut away scenes will definitely make more sense with the dialogue. Any panel without a border with that dude running is a cutaway shot, elsewhere. The group basically talking about the guy saying "he's probably fine" as you see him frantically running for his life from something that will be revealed much later.
Pop, thanks! No plans for ink. Color would be directly over pencils. Came up with the concept and have been developing it for a while with Kel Nuttall, who is writing and will also be lettering it.

Thanks, shannonh! Thought I was taking a bit of a risk with that tilt but liked the results.

Awesome stuff, Bovey. Any colors on this?
Very nice work man, I really dig the general layout, and some panels are really great.
I have however an interrogation on the last page, which might be cleared with the words: I'm not sure of the emotion you're trying to portray in the penultimate panel. The grizzly last panel would tend to indicate terror, but upon first reading, I was under the impression that the woman was just enjoying herself in the woods, looking at flying leaves with joy and amazement. If she is supposed to be frightened or suprised, I think you should push the expression a lot more. But again, all this is only deduction from the last panel, which maybe is supposed to come as a total surprise, in which case ignore my remark completely.
Very solid work on all counts otherwise![]()
Huerta, thanks man. Its intended to be colored but I don't have anything lined up at the moment as far as who will actually be doing it. All my focus at the moment is just getting the pencils done.
Jel, thanks! She's tripping on the plant pod/seed she just ate. If she wasn't under the influence of that drug she would proobably be utterly terrified. But she is totally tripping out, giggling in awe at what she's seeing. Wanted to show her as being angry, shoving the guy on that previous page and running off, to depressed before eating the pod, to calm afterward, and then almost giddy due to the effects of the drug she took to take the pain away. The word bubble right before she's killed is "hee-hee..."

Great work Dave!
Looking at the page in a row is better than watching them in the sketches thread.
You improved these pages a lot compared with the previous version. Storytelling is real strong and the layout is always interesting and powerful. The only small concern I have is about the cut away scenes, but as you already said I'm waiting to see the lettered pages to see if everything will be fixed up. Also colors can help with the cut away scenes.
This work is really great I' very impressed!
