That was the best of about 20 pictures I took, and I still think it's terrible. (Not that the painting's really that great). My suppiles were pretty crappy, but it was fun to do some oils again after about 5 years.

Picture taking is the hardest part, I totally agree. Your best shot (if you don't have an actual light set-up) is on a non-raining but overcast day, outside. That picture of mine was done by the Photo and Imaging studio on campus. They actually got glare even with their normal copy shot set-up, and had to do it in their big studio.

I am still kinda learning my way back around here, so excuse me if I missed something. I thought PUMMEL Street Fights were supposed to be new work.

Wassy's piece was up in Finished work on the 25th of April.

Like I said, feel free to set me straight if I missed a step or am outta line. I just knew I had seen it before the poll was posted up.

Beyond that, Wassy's piece is VERY VERY good!

Blamito and I worked it out via PMs back in early April. I said way in advance that my entry was gonna be done early and was being worked on for a class. Once it was up I told him it was my entry. I didn't pull any fast ones on him.

Yeah, we were PMing and at one point I got mixed-up and thought it wasn't going down, but then it was... so it's all very confusatory but he knew what I was cooking on my side.
